About me and my practice
As an integrative humanistic counsellor, I work collaboratively with you in whatever you bring, from the basis of your own experience.
Life is hard at times, and being understood by another person can have incredible benefits. I will look at the world from your perspective, and support and challenge you in a gentle and respectful way.
I offer you a safe and confidential space and will work collaboratively with you to explore your reasons for coming to therapy and any hopes or goals you may have in mind. Our time together may be short or long-term.
Experience
I have experience in dealing with loss, illness, bereavement, anxiety and depression, and currently also work as a counsellor at a local hospice supporting all those affected by life-limiting illness. I have worked with a diverse range of clients and have some experience supporting young people as well as working within neurodiversity. Having previously worked in the corporate and financial sector, I also have experience of dealing with stress, and burnout, as well as other modern day pressures.

Initial Consultation
I offer a free initial 20-minute chat over the phone before the first session. Regular sessions last 50 minutes.
Our first session will include an initial assessment in order for me to get to know you better, as well as helping to make the sessions meaningful for you. We will take time to consider your reasons for seeking therapy and any expectations you may have.
